David John Baker is a data scientist and educator who specializes in teaching R and statistics to people who are getting started in data science. He holds a Ph.D. from Louisiana State University where he investigated how tools from computational musicology and cognitive psychology can be used to model how people learn melodies. He is a Lead Instructor of Data Science at Flatiron School in London, England.
