Rebecca is a data scientist and data science educator with a PhD in Statistics from UC Berkeley. She has been working with R for 10 years, and is the author of a popular R package superheat, co-author of an upcoming book on data science, and author of the blog Data meets Narrative where she writes about R and data science. Rebecca enjoys taking seemingly complicated concepts and explaining them in simple and intuitive ways.
