Jeff Brabec is a graduate student pursuing his Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the University of Vermont where he uses R on a daily basis for data cleaning and implementation of machine learning pipelines for genetic data. Since starting his Ph.D. he has developed a passion for promoting reproducible principles for data analysis in his graduate program and institution which culminated in a short summer course in data science in the summer of 2020. Outside of data science, Jeff enjoys running long-distance races and exploring the mountains of Vermont.
