Teon is a data scientist at Mozilla and the executive director of an edtech nonprofit startup CIEL, which aims to train the next generation of computational and critical thinkers in STEM. He also serves as a technical consultant to researchers on software development and design for teaching cognitive science and data science. Teon holds a PhD in cognitive science, has been working in open source software development since 2013, and lives in Brooklyn.
