Simon is a statistician and R developer currently interning on the tidymodels team at RStudio. He co-authors and maintains several R packages including broom, infer, anyflights, and gbfs, and researches equitable algorithms for data privacy. As an undergraduate at Reed College, he serves as a teaching assistant for several statistics courses and leads the student chapter of the American Statistical Association.
