Florencia is a postdoctoral researcher at the Argentine National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA) working on Ecological Risk Assessment. She holds a PhD in biology and a degree in science education from the University of Buenos Aires. She participates actively in different communities being part of R-Ladies Global, R-Ladies Buenos Aires, and ReproHack teams. She is also a certified instructor from The Carpentries and one of the chairs of the LatinR conference. What Florencia likes most about teaching and her work in the communities is helping others discover their own potential.
