Andrea De Angelis is senior researcher and lecturer in Political Science at the University of Lucerne, and co-founder of the Lucerne Master in Computational Social Science (LUMACSS) and of the Lucerne R User Group. Andrea holds a PhD in Political and Social Sciences (European University Institute) and an MSc in Economics (Bocconi University). His research involves the application of computational methods to social science questions, and he is an experienced instructor of R courses and workshops for diverse audiences (including introduction to R for non-programmers, data visualization, advanced regression analysis, text analytics, and reproducible workflows).
