Ian is a data scientist specializing in R, Python, and JavaScript with experience consulting in the pharmaceutical industry, government agencies, NGOs, and educational institutions in Puerto Rico, the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. He holds a Master’s of Data Science from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor’s in Integrative Biology from the University of Puerto Rico, and is currently working with RStudio on two projects. One of them is developing infrastructure tooling for education and research, and the other one is researching how and how well data scientists and data science students identify errors in data analyses.
