Sebastián is a researcher and professor at CIDE as well as a data journalist. Teaching statistics and data visualization with R and the tidyverse is one of his main passions. Every year he teaches two undergrad statistics courses at CIDE, as well as several short introductory courses to R, the tidyverse, and data visualization. He coordinates CIDE’s Escuela de Métodos, where he designed the R sequence. Formally trained as political scientist, over the last six years he has discovered that his heart lies closer to everything related to data science.
