Kelsey is a Senior Data Scientist in the Chief Analytics Office at IBM and holds a PhD from the University of Arizona. She uses Python and R professionally for People Analytics. Outside of teaching the tidyverse and tidy data, she teaches statistical modeling in R, web scraping, social media APIs, social network analysis, and lots of visualization. She is a RStudio Academy Mentor, a Certified RStudio Trainer and a Carpentries instructor and enjoys empowering others to program through workshops and mentoring.
