Hlynur is a senior data scientist at the City of Reykjavík in Iceland, as well as an independent R instructor and consultant. He offers tutoring and workshops from the introductory level up to advanced predictive modeling in R, but having been an avid Excel user in his past life as an economist he gets a special kick out of helping people make the transition from spreadsheets to R. More than anything Hlynur feels truly privileged to be a part of the incredible R community, and is determined to leave it even better than he found it.
