Bier Kraichak completed his Ph.D. at University of California at Berkeley and is now an assistant professor in Botany at Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Thailand. Since his first exposure to R in 2009, he has been using R for data analysis in plant ecology, evolution, and agricultural sciences. He has also taught a number of workshops and classes on R for biology students and professionals who have little to no background on programming and statistics.
