Shiro Kuriwaki, PhD, is on the faculty at the Department of Political Science at Yale University. In the data science and software engineering aspects of his teaching, he specializes in econometrics, survey methods, and applications to social science. In 2019-2020, he helped design the R curriculum in Harvard Kennedy School’s intensive masters econometrics sequence, and won the Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award for this work.
