Angela is a data scientist and researcher at the University of Chicago with a background in spatial econometrics. In her day-to-day work she trains social scientists to use spatial analysis and data science tools, and develops open source documentation and software for the Center for Spatial Data Science. She is also a certified Carpentries instructor and trainer, and enjoys sharing her knowledge through workshops and mentoring. She founded the R-Ladies Chicago and contributes regularly to open source community projects.
