Kane is currently Director and Principal Consultant at Matrix Geoscience, a geoscience and data analytics consultancy that specialises in exploration, resource estimation and database management. Kane has a passion for developing innovative analytical techniques within the exploration and mining sectors. In addition to his extensive geological expertise, Kane also has a strong background in machine learning and data science. He enjoys teaching introductory and advanced R programming to geoscientists and increasing the accessibility of data science to the mining industry in general.
