Andy is a manager and an avid R user at The Home Depot in Atlanta, GA. He uses R on the job for data exploration to create both insightful analysis and reproducible reports and data visualizations. Andy’s current interests are leveraging R within Google Cloud Platform, as well as creating Shiny Apps within this environment. He loves to promote, teach, and mentor other analysts, students, and data scientists on how to be effective at their job by using R and the Tidyverse. He is a member of the Minorities in R (MiR) community, and also spends some of his free time consulting with small businesses to make better decisions with data.
