Maxwel C. Oliveira is a Professor and an applied evolutionary weed scientist (not that kind of “weed”). He holds a PhD from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Agronomy. He started using R in 2014 for his research, with an emphasis on data analysis and visualization. From 2019 on, he has been teaching data science classes and workshops. He is the founder and creative director of Open Weed Science which provides a platform to share his/others knowledge and passion of all aspects of data science.
