Riva is a linguist and educator by training. In her day-to-day work she teaches R programming, data visualization, and communication skills; she also works as an editor at Programming Historian. She is an active member of the R community and loves organizing and contributing to open-source projects that make R and Data Science more accessible and inclusive.
