Paloma is a PhD candidate at the Epidemiology Department of Erasmus MC. Her current research is focused on applying causal inference methods in observational and longitudinal data. She loves teaching the tidyverse because it empowers individuals who don’t come from a computer science background (like her) to doing reproducible and high-quality data analysis and visualization. She enjoys working with communities because she is convinced of the power of diversity and shared knowledged; she cofounded R-Ladies Buenos Aires and currently organizes R-Ladies Rotterdam.
