Katie Sasso Schafer is a Director of Data Science at the Columbus Collaboratory, a technology solutions provider that serves enterprises with trusted cybersecurity and AI solutions. Katie loves teaching R to the local Columbus community and beyond, with a special interest on industry applications and use cases. As co-organizer of R-Ladies and Alumni and Industry Advisor for Erdos Institute, Katie strives to make R, the tidyverse, and data science fundamentals accessible to newcomers and intermediate users from both industry and academia.
