Samantha works in Business Development and Marketing at RStudio. She has a BA in social psychology and statistics from the University of Virginia. She is passionate about contributing to open source and making data literacy more accessible for everyone, regardless of their means or background. She founded the Charlottesville chapter of R-Ladies in 2017, where she runs workshops covering everything from R package development to creating websites with blogdown and command line navigation.
