Aaron is a Senior Software Engineer at TileDB with a background in computational biology and data science. He was previously an Assistant Professor of Human Genetics at VCU where he co-founded VCU’s Data Science Lab and developed a series of workshops and courses teaching modern data science techniques that support efficient and reproducible research workflows. He is also an active open source software contributor and has authored (or co-authored) several R packages, including osfr (the Open Science Framework for R).
